How we keep the change under control
We treat connectivity as an end-to-end path. Switching, wireless, routing, firewalls, WAN and DNS are reviewed together when the symptom crosses more than one layer.
We also leave the customer with the information needed to understand the network. That can include diagrams, addressing, VLANs, important dependencies, configuration backups and operating notes, depending on the platform and engagement.
